Desperately looking for 1-2 Final Battle tickets.
Seems like a long shot, but if someone here has any extras they're willing to sell, or if anyone can point me in the right direction, please let me know.

Re: The NJPW Thread
Still getting used to navigating NJPW World but I like it a lot. So far I've watched Liger vs Sano Dick Murdoch vs Adrian Adonis Dick Murdoch vs Abdullah the Butcher Nakamura and Goto vs Sugiura and Misawa Devitt vs Ibushi Plan to watch all of the Brody/Inoki matches. And obviously, WK9 this weekend...

Re: What was ROH's best year?
Da Hit Squad was a very popular act in indy wrestling in the late 90's/early 2000's. ROH was just going by what was cool at the time. Christopher Street Connection was also a pretty hot act in indy wrestling. All of those guys worked together and trained together at the Doghouse. So it was something...

Re: Frankie Kazarian
They've both been fine. But I never watched TNA do I have no connection to Kazarian so agreed with the first two responses. Does anyone who followed their TNA career have a stronger opinion? Back when it was still called NWA TNA, Frankie Kazarian was a fan favorite with a lot of hype. His rivalry w...

Really? That's good news. I was worried about NOAH's fate for a while. They've turned around in the past couple of years though.Sandy Fork wrote:So apparently NJPW is now funding NOAH as well.

You know I had heard of Papadon before watching ROH this week and the guy looked alright. Hope he gets brought in again sometime. I know Les thatcher is a fan of his Papadon's been wrestling for a very long time. I remember seeing him wrestle every Saturday night at Homicide's school (the LIWF Dogh...

Re: The NJPW Thread
I'll always like Marufuji, even if he's kinda broken down nowadays. I wasn't crazy about the match he had with Nagata for the GHC title this past summer, but I still usually look forward to his matches. Marufuji vs Nakamura from 2013 was really good, I thought. Would like to see a rematch. Those oth...

Re: The NJPW Thread
I already explained why it seems like it's trolling. Difference of opinion is one thing. That's cool. But a lot of your posts don't seem serious. No disrespect to anyone here, but I'm hoping we can make this thread about New Japan again, and not another back and forth with you, or weird fantasy book...

Re: The NJPW Thread
Judging from most of this guy's posts, it's easy to see why people label him a troll. Seems like he instigates in most of his posts specifically to get a rise out of certain posters and to be a contrarian. And I say this as someone who doesn't share the same opinions on ROH (or wrestling in general)...

Re: The NXT Thread
The Hideo Itami reference is above my head. Supposedly as some sort of tribute? Someone mind explaining it? I get copyright stuff and why they change his name. But why create so much hype on .com and Raw about signing "KENTA?" They already established his name, and then changed it. And KE...

Re: Elgin leaving?
Enlighten me on a forced Rod Strong reign. What were the circumstances behind it? Tyler getting signed out of nowhere? I dont remember too much about those shows from that era as even though I was at some of those shows, my interest was at an all time low.

Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza VI Thread
There were no real streaming problems last night, right?
I remember Jay's first win was not as big as it could have been due to that awful feed from that ippv. So, good for him to get to re-live that in a better setting.
Really looking forward to seeing Cole/Styles.

Re: CHIKARA thread.
Glad I didn't buy tickets when it was first announced, but Spirit Squad appeals to me, and Homicide in a Chikara ring does as well. I think Justskiff is on to something. Quack is probably trying to avoid debt instead of trying to put on super shows now. Don't want to get into personal stuff, but if ...

I've been reading about Ligero for a few years now, and despite the somewhat goofy mask (not a knock on masks in general, I love lucha) I'm interested in checking out some of his matches.
