Re: Official Death Before Dishonor XI Thread
What's wrong with Jay just coming out to congratulate the winner of the tournament, handing over the title personally and stating that when he is fully fit he would like a title shot. All the other silliness would seem to detract from the new champion and what the tournament was supposed to be about.

I think I would still get mine in Japanese. I have been watching various Japanese organisations for years and it would feel weird to me to view it in English.

Re: Zack Sabre JR
He is one of the best workers out of the UK at the moment (and there are many good ones at this present time. He has also been tearing it up lately in NOAH (his match with Ishimori over the jr. heavyweight belt is one to see), so I would love to see him wrestle a few matches in ROH. His counter-wres...

Re: Official Manhattan Mayhem V Thread
One thing that I have really enjoyed about the last two events is that all the matches have ended in clean finishes without any silliness (even Taven v Mondo ended clean dispite the silliness in the match).

Re: Can we please Chill on the Streamers??
I have no problem with them at all. It is a visual way in showing the audiences support in a wrestler. This is ideal in ROH when most times the volume on the audience appears to have been turned down.

Re: The NJPW Thread
I have to say but I loved the match (and that style match in general). I can see it is not for everybody, especially those who grew up watching wrestling from the mainstream American organisations where selling is everything. However, there are many ways to skin a cat and it would be dull if everybo...

Re: The NJPW Thread
Another great show by NJPW, with the whole tourament showing why New Japan is on top at this moment. I was not that surprised about Naito winning and think it was probably in the pipeline for a while. And while there were sloppy momonts in some of his tournament matches, it should be remember that h...

Re: The NJPW Thread
I think the current tours that many NJPW wrestlers are doing at this present time is a way for the New Japan to promote its product around the world (especially with the success of their IPPV's). The working with promotions based in America, incuding ROH and NWA, is a great way of promoting the prod...

Re: El Ligero in Ring Of Honor?
Apart from the money of flying him over, I can't see why not. Why not invite a few over, including Noam Dar, Zach Sabre Jr (who is doing really well in NOAH) and Marty Scurll.

Re: The NJPW Thread
Another awesome event by NJPW. While behind Dominion, there was still some great match ups. I actually liked the two matches invovling Laughter 7 and thought the differing styles worked well back-to-back. The main event came across as there will be more between those two in the future. I wouldn't be...

Really great news. I think KUSHIDA is the future of NJPW Junior division, and it will great to see him in ROH. In fact I rather see him in ROH than Shelley.

Re: ROH Womens' Division, What Are They Looking For? +Financ
I love women's wrestling, and some of my favourite matches of all time were from All Japan Women from the early to mid 1990's (particularly invovling Aja Kong and Manami Toyota). While the crop of female wrestlers ROH actively use are not in that league (very few were/are), that is not to say they a...
