Re: The PWX Thread
Does anyone know how Alexander's Dream Series had gone. Since he was having outstanding matches against just about everyone in PWX the last year I was curious as to if he's been keeping it up or not. His list of competitors is a who's who of wrestling. Cedric's Dream Series is still around. He will...

+1. Trevor is a very promising talent. His character needs some work but, as far as in-ring, the kid is a great seller.SteenMark23 wrote:Awesome to see Trevor Lee work a dark match. He's only 20 years old, and a lot of people I know are very high on him.

Re: Corino's Commentary
I like Corino on commentary, but I do think he's still trying to find an appropriate balance between comedy and seriousness. I'm sure ROH wants him to bring a comedic element to his commentary to contrast the rather bland-to-frequently annoying Kevin Kelly, but Steve seems to be trying too hard righ...

When not wrestling, Kenny King is actually a dancer with the Moscow Ballet. He made up the Chippendales stripper story in order to establish more 'street cred.' Colt Cabana lost his WWE developmental deal after he was overheard referring to Stephanie McMahon as a 'shiksa goddess.' ACH actually stand...

Prince Nana is so over in his home country of Ghana that shrimp cocktails are known as "Nana Cocktails" there. Eddie Kingston is an avid collector of memorabilia from the "Andy Griffith Show." Jim Cornette originally wanted Kevin Steen and El Generico to blow off their feud with ...

Eddie Edwards was originally brought in to the American Wolves so that the team would have a "straight man" to react to all of Davey's funny jokes and one-liners. Homicide gave up a lucrative career as a patent attorney in order to become the "Notorious 187." Steve Corino once da...

Re: Final Battle Main Event
Jay won't get added just to lose, otherwise why would they introduce an exclusive title for him? That's a good point. I don't know if having an actual belt has much to do with it, but it may not be the best to have Jay lose in his first match back. What if they had Jay show up to a few shows and ha...

Re: Who's the most underrated wrestler on the ROH roster tod
I agree that Jimmy Jacobs is underrated. I would also say that Cedric Alexander is very underrated. I've seen him on a regular basis for the past couple of years in various indies around the Carolinas. Every match I've seen with Cedric has been at worse good and several of them have been excellent. ...

Here's another idea in the fantasy booking department for Cole's heel turn: In his semi-final match with Ciampa, have Cole try to do the 'honorable' thing, only to have it backfire on him. For example, have Cole close to winning via countout over Ciampa (similar to his recent win over Roderick Stron...

This is just a theory on my part, but I wonder if Kyle's problem was not getting into Canada to work shows but getting back into the United States afterwards. He's Canadian by birth, but has lived in the US for several years. If he's a Canadian citizen, theoretically, he should be able to cross back...

For me, one of the highlights of this past week's show was Corino's look of disbelief and after being told by Kevin Kelly that he didn't "work here anymore."
Steve asked "what did I do?" Kevin then turned away in disgust and tried to finish his segment. Funny stuff.

Re: Death Before Dishonor vs. Glory By Honor
It seems to me that Death Before Dishonor gets more hype (and Ippvs) so I guess it's supposed to be more prestigious. But I think events at Glory By Honor end up (intentional or not) being more important. I think running these shows so close together doesn't help matters. With that said, I believe B...

I was not impressed with his match with Mondo at Caged Hostility last year and was pretty critical of him in the forum at the time. But I don't mind him now. I think pairing him with RD as a lower card comedy tag team was a good move. Like previous posts in this thread, I don't see why WWE would be ...

I attended the PWX show this past weekend and was told by several fans that promoter Tyshion Williams has been forced out of the promotion by Highspots. I don't know if these are unsubstantiated rumors or fact. He was not at the show and I've never been to a PWX card without Ty present, so I wonder ...

I think Silas would be a good choice.
But if ROH is not planning on giving Jimmy Jacobs a world title reign in the next year or so, then I say Jimmy.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. I've also been wondering why he is the only major ROH star that never signs autographs before a show? FWIW, I've never noticed Kyle signing autographs before any ROH show, but I have seen Kyle signing autographs at other indy shows such as PWX. I've spoken...

Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) def reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) to win the ROH Tag Titles when Romero pinned O'Reilly  Well that was certainly unexpected. I actually don't mind this, to be honest. Agreed. I was enjoying Red Dragon's title reign and hoped it w...

Re: The PWX Thread
Anyone go to the last show? I did and the match of the night was undoubtedly Cedric Alexander vs. Tomasso Ciampa. Both guys worked hard with Cedric going over in yet another star-making performance. It ROH is not going to put the tag belts on C&C, then they should go ahead and split them and co...
