Re: The WWE Thread
Ignoring the roster, they could have at least swapped around Kalisto and Stardust ffs

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
How're people liking the whole Castle/Boys/Bruiser/Young story currently? I'm not too fond of it, but I do enjoy seeing more of an edge to Castle, showing more of a mean streak. It's intriguing to see. I like it, although most of it is due to this new Silas/Bruiser friendship. I mean, not only is i...

Re: ROH on SBG Discussion Thread
triple threat was decent but there was no one good to take a pin. Cole pinning Kyle just came out of nowhere and was like 'oh, right' then the Young Bucks do stuff to try and distract from it Also Styles/Lethal should be v. good but there's not much of a feud there for what is the marquee PPV on a p...

Re: ROH on SBG Discussion Thread
First great ROH episode in what felt like a while. The Kingdom promo was pretty fun and I can look past the shitty turn if Elgin keeps doing stuff like that. The main event match was a blast, good aftermath, actually enjoyed the Corino bit and was that him walking away from commentary duties? Couldn...

Aw man, Ishii-Honma should defo have waited for WK10 in my opinion. unless they're gonna chuck an Ibushi or somebody in there, that's quite a letdown

Re: The NXT Thread
Every time I look at a Takeover card I think 'yep, looks pretty good' and then it will surpass my high expectations. Preferred Brooklyn as a whole and in regards to the Bayley/Sasha match but still probably their second greatest show.

Re: Interesting note from Kevin Kelly
I never got how Nigel comes out for ROH main events. He's good, and clearly earned the right to commentate on the company's most important match-ups, but he's not part of the team by now? It's confusing, he always seems to be back & forth during shows

Re: Interesting note from Kevin Kelly
I'm honestly not exaggerating but legitimately asking: Could there be a worse commentary team than Kelly/Striker? That seems like a rib getting the two worst announcers in wrestling together. personal nightmare team: Corino & DA POPE Elijah Burke, though you can easily slide Josh Matthews in th...

Re: Wrestling related pet peeves of yours...
The heel has unfairly won and is just leaving with his helpers. The face grabs the mic and says something like " ...next time, on November 12, right here in the Sportatorium, there will be no outside interference. It's me vs you in a cage. " Seriously? Is he the matchmaker or what? And ye...

The guy I would boo with the most passion at an ROH show would be Silas Young. I'm an effeminate weirdo and that gimmick is ON POINT

Re: I think it's time for Delirious to step down as booker
Adam Cole faked a face turn for five months with the goal of running in on a match that prior to about a month ago he could have no idea would happen. He did this so that he could attack Kyle O'Reilly, which he could have done just as well without the effort of spending half a year pretending to be...

Re: The WWE Thread
Ha, that's crazy to me. I thought, bar the post-Summerslam Raw the episodes building to this have been very very mediocre, so what they managed to pull off with a fairly consistent set of matches was good work. For a B-PPV I thought this was fine quality stuff and their best since MITB probably. Onl...

I never took commentators using 'stiff' as a descriptive word to mean the same thing as 'stiff' in wrestle-talk.

Re: I think it's time for Delirious to step down as booker
Nobody can enjoy this angle!! I won't allow it! I hope I never turn into a fan like this, as controversial opinion here: I like to enjoy things. Anyway, who said it was "awesome"? non-sarcy bastard answer: what plot-holes really? The biggest downer on the match was there being 3 run-ins. T...

Re: I think it's time for Delirious to step down as booker
My only problem with the main event finish wasn't ~the twist~, I liked that. Quite clever to do an assumed face turn I think. They've been conspicuous with their separate ways, kept the same theme, had in-fighting but never hossed it out. Pretty satisfying stuff the more I think about it. It was jus...

Re: Wrestling related pet peeves of yours...
I don't mind a more shoot-styled match, but commentators are constantly stumbling over their own arses in these matches, getting confused as to which sport they should be putting over. Swings n roundabouts though. Wait, what ? Commentators always seem to go overboard putting MMA over in such matche...
